Christ promised that He’d take all your cares. “Cast your cares on Him.” So what are you worried about? Worry builds up pressure. Pressure blows up. So just cast your cares on Him, and quit worrying. All right.
Get yourself quiet before Him. Don’t let the washing hinder. Don’t let the work hinder. Don’t let nothing hinder. Don’t let nobody know what you’re doing. Just go before Him. Get up in the woods somewhere. Get out on the side of the road. Go into the secret closet and close the door, when the kids gets at school. There get down on your knees.
If ever I had a time of success of praying for anyone, is when I could enter into the fellowship with them, feel their infirmities, feel their conditions.
And a man is just a man until he’s fully submitted to God, and then Deity dwells in that man, the Holy Spirit. Not the man, but God in the man does the work.
That’s how you’re saved is by faith. That’s how you’re healed is by faith. And faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things you don’t see, taste, feel, smell, or hear. You just believe it. Act upon it as though it was. Amen.
Listen friends. It ain’t the robin that pecks the apple that hurts it; it’s the worm at the core that kills the apple. That’s what. It’s sin in our midst is what’s a hurting us (That’s right.), sin in our midst that’s killing us.
But we must all come in one way: that’s come, knowing that we are nothing and He’s all; and being willing to surrender ourselves to Him in order to receive benefits from Him.
That’s the way you accept God. And more simple you can get, more humble, and get away from yourself, your own ideas, just take God’s Word for what it’s worth, and believe It. And it’s by faith that these things are come, not what you can figure out.
And listen, friends; more simpler you can be, more God can deal with you. I’m not against education. Educations are all right. But people get so highly educated, till they think they know more about it than God does. And then they miss the goal. You’ve got to forget all you ever knowed in your own knowledge to know Christ.
Diseases and afflictions are all the results of sin, maybe not in your life, but in somebody’s life before you. The devil is the author of sickness and afflictions. Before we had any devil, we had no sickness or affliction. But when Satan came, he brought with him sickness and afflictions.
