God is love, perfect love; but you don’t know what love is. That’s why today people don’t know what faith is. God is love. He has to be in love; He’s sovereign to His Word. And He has to keep His Word. He has to love you. And if He loves you, He’s got to protect you.
And if you believe, then them little immoral things will just drop off, like that. As you believe, you become love. And love is God. And you begin to wind yourself into Christ. And these other things, you don’t have to quit doing them; they just quit themselves. There’s just no desire to do it.
And that’s the way it is with every man that’s a believer in Jesus Christ, that’s hid in Him. It’s not you shining; it’s the Holy Spirit shining on you, that gives you this hope and this joy of the resurrection.
” So no matter what you do, how saintly you claim to be, how much you jump up-and-down and cry, speak in tongues, run over the floor, or whatever you want to do, or give to the poor, or whatever you are; that isn’t it. You’ve broke that Word; and, that one Word broke, you can’t go back in! Exactly right, not one Word. You take a creed instead of the Word, because it suits you better.
† And a man or woman that professes to be a Christian and don’t live that kind of life, by the grace of God, is a jimsonweed. By their fruits ye shall know them. If that thing’s in your heart, bears record of what you are somewhere else. If it’s evil, it bears record that you’re down here. When you die, you’ll just have to go to where you are already.
I’d rather be poor and live in a shack and have favor with God, and the feeling that I had the satisfaction I love Him, than all the wealth the world owns.
Medicine doesn’t heal. You take the life out of there, there’s no healing. Life is the Healer. And Life is God. Jesus came that you might have abundance of Life, more Life than what your normal life is, to believe on Him to be healed by faith.
A lot of people thinks they got to be something… But, no, no, that’s wrong. Just common faith is all you have to apply the Blood by. Hear the Word, and believe the Word, apply It, that’s all.
The only way God can have confidence in you, is not because you do something, or with your faith do something, but when you have fellowship. Amen. Fellowship…
What can you give? God will receive what you’ll give, but God wants all of you. He wants every bit of you. He wants all. He wants everything you are. He wants your life. He wants your testimony. He wants every minute you live. He wants you to live right, act right, talk right, do right. He wants everything perfectly surrendered to Him, that He can lead you, and guide you, and put you into places where He wants you to go, led of the Spirit.
