The Token for the believer today is the Holy Ghost; not a blood, a chemistry, but It is the Holy Spirit of God. That is the Token that God requires of the Church today. God must see this Token. He must see It in every one of us.
Usually, it takes a state of emergency, to throw us into desperation. See? It’s too bad it has to do that, but human beings are so slothful in their mind, that it takes an emergency. Something arises, and when they do, then it–it throws them into that desperation. And really, in doing that in desperation, it brings out that real thing that you are. It shows what you’re made out of, in the time of desperation.
I think that’s a glorious word, to be “pardoned.” Because, we are all guilty of sin. We’ve all sinned and come short of the glory of God. And God, through His Son, has pardoned us from this guilt of iniquity and sin.
Now we have all kinds of investments. But the investment I’m asking about this morning… You might have made many good ones, but this is the best one you could make. I, as I have just quoted, I am an agent for Eternal Life.
If we only could realize what this Scripture mean, “He that is in you is greater than he that’s in the world.” We can’t understand That, yet we say we believe It. And we know It’s true, but we really don’t understand It.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His power is just the same today as it ever was. He does not fail. He cannot fail. He is God. He has to remain God. Right! “Sirs, we would see Jesus,” not hear the mechanics, “see the dynamics of Him.”
You’re the virtuous Bride of Christ, washed in the Blood of Christ. Precious, virtuous, sinless Son of God standing with a pure, unadulterated Bride-Word that He washed by the Water of His Own Blood; that become flesh and manifested, that He might take you which were predestinated in the bosom of the Father, before the beginning, the same as He was.
“To find this King, they went by a Heavenly, God-given Sign, not by some man’s theology. They had seen It in the Word. It was supposed to be there, and they followed the Heavenly Sign.
What group would you be identified with, if your present character would have been living in the days of Noah? Would you been with the prophet and God’s vindicated Word, standing in the minority, the little group, or with the popular-opinion folks of that day?
All the preaching, all the teaching, and everything else He had done, had failed. But when He revealed Himself, doing the same thing He did before His crucifixion, they knew it was Him. It opened their eyes.
